Photographer Roger Ballen, a New Yorker who has lived in South Africa for almost 30 years, recently visited Oslo in conjunction with his exhibition, which has been open to the Norwegian public until 23 January 2011. The exhibition featured pictures from his books Outland, Shadow Chamber and Boarding House. Read more

Wine Tastings at the South African Embassy
Wine enthusiasts were in for a treat when the South African Embassy together with Wines of South Africa (WOSA) hosted a series of South African wine tastings in November 2010. Five wine clubs were the lucky winners of an an exclusive wine tasting seminar with TibblingVin at the Embassy for up to 25 people. Read more
Zwai Mbula Album Release Concert
The atmosphere was buzzing when the South African Embassy in Oslo hosted the album release concert of South African artist Mr Zwai Mbula on 5 November 2010. Mr Mbula‘s band gave the audience a sample of some of the 13 new tracs for the album “My Heritage”. Read more
South African Ambassador Visits the Technology Centre at Mongstad South Africa’s Ambassador to Norway, Ambassador Beryl Rose Sisulu travelled to Bergen to visit the CO2 Technology Centre at Mongstad (TCM) in November 2010. The visit took place as a follow-up to the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by Sasol and Gassnova in November 2009. Read more
